Come WERQout for a great cause - Girls Play Sports!!!

Girls Play Sports (GPS) is a non-profit organization in Evanston that encourages young girls to participate in multiple sports while promoting confidence and leadership. Although GPS is a relatively new organization, it has had a profound impact on the girls in our community leading over 100 clinics, camps, leagues and tournaments that benefitted more than 2,000 elementary and middle school female participants last year alone. While most of the programming is free, the paid programs reserve 50% of registrations for girls from low-income families.

On Sunday, August 19th at 2pm (doors open at 1:30pm) in the Evanston Township High School Beardsley Gymnasium, Haley Stone, Founder of WERQ and Sharon Robinson, Girls Play Sports Board member and WERQ (werqfitness.com) instructor will lead an epic charityWERQ event benefitting Girls Play Sports. A fun, fast-paced workout set to an all hip-hop playlist, this hour long WERQout is for women and men of all ages and includes refreshments and a raffle,
